IPad/iPhone community not important for xPod101?

Postby pooneem8473 » September 18th, 2011 9:17 am

Hi xPod101-Team,

I have seen a lot of changes regarding xPod101, starting from style, content and web layout, but it is still a nuisance to use your web site via a mobile device from Apple - there is Flash content in the video, the word of the day and in audio.
Wouldn't it be time to adopt web contents to be usable by the Apple devices as well? Or at least to provide for an app that makes the user experience as much convenient as it should be for learning?
Or are the iPad/iPhone users outside your scope?

Regards,
Pooneem

Hello, Pooneem.

I'm Jay Lee, the project manager of ThaiPod101.com

Thank you for letting us know the issue and giving us the great idea.

Our team has been working on the issues, and I believe that you'll be able to find videos loadable on iOS devices in the near future. Since not only Apple iOS but also Windows and other big platforms are now planning to not support flash videos, I believe that more users will need the non-flash video files.

I hope we can provide you those videos soon.

Thank you again.

Sincerely,

Jaehwi Lee / ThaiPod101.com

Hi Jaehwi,

these are good news - I appreciate it (and I think the iOS does as well)!
I am aware that these changes are connected with cost - but also with customer satisfaction and loyalty.
What is your estimate how soon is 'soon' - 3 months, 6 months or one year?
Do you have a time line for that?

Regards,
Pooneem
