Welcome back, everyone! Today we’re going to do Top 15 Happy Words. Are you ready? Ok, let’s begin!
1. มีความสุข (Mii khwaam sùk) “happy”
Happy words, of course, have to begin with “Happy”!
มีความสุข (Mii khwaam sùk)
So, “Are you happy?” คุณมีความสุขมัย (khun mii khwaam sùk mái)
2. กระปรี้กระเปร่า (grà-bprîi-grà-bprào) “energetic”
I know that it is difficult because you have ปรี้(bprîi) which force you to click your tongue while you are speaking. Click, click like that. If you can’t, just say, gabpi-gabpao. It’s not 100% grammatically correct but people still can be about to understand what you are saying
กระปรี้กระเปร่า (grà-bprîi-grà-bprào).
Even I, you can see that, have difficulty pronouncing this words.

The most popular sentence is, of course, “I love you,” ฉันรักคุณ (chăn rák khun).

10. สวย (sǔuai) “beautiful”
It’s a good way to compliment anyone. However, the tone is very important because if the tone is off it means different thing. สวย (sǔuai) is “beautiful” or “pretty” , ชาย (suuai) means “unfortunate”. So be careful of the intonation that you use.
11. อบอุ่น (òp-ùn) “warm”
“You are a warm person.” คุณเป็นคนที่อบอุ่น (khun bpen khon thîi òp ùn)
However, if you want to say that this place is warm in terms of temperature-wise, you don’t say อบอุ่น(òp ùn), you say, อุ่น(ùn), just the last word.
ที่ตรงนี้อุ่น (thîi dtrong níi ùn) “This spot/this place is warm.”
12. มีความหวัง (mii kwaam wăng) “hopeful”
“I'm hopeful that I'm going to pass tomorrow's exam.”
