| 1. ฉันเห็นด้วยกับคุณอย่างยิ่ง (chăn hĕn dûuai gàp khun yàang yîng) “I couldn't agree with you more.” |
| Actually, the word อย่างยิ่ง (yàang yîng) means “very”. We use it when we write, but when we say it, it’s a bit too formal so to make it more natural, you can say ฉันเห็นด้วยกับคุณมากๆ (chăn hĕn dûuai gàp khun mâak mâak). That would also mean the same thing. |
| 2. แน่นอน (nâae-naawn) “Of course.” |
| Well, แน่นอน (nâae-naawn) sure “of course” would do. If you really agree with someone then you use this word. |
| 3. ฉันกำลังจะพูดเลย (chăn gam-lang jà phûut looei) “I was just going to say that.” |
| พรุ่งนี้หยุด เราไปเที่ยวกันมั๊ย (phrûng-níi yùt rao bpai thîiao gan mái) Tomorrow is a holiday. Should we go somewhere? ฉันกำลังจะพูดเลย (chăn gam-lang jà phûut looei) “I was just going to say that.” |
| 4. ใช่ คุณพูดถูก (châi khun phûut thùuk) “Yes, you’re right.” |
| ฉันว่าปลอกมือถือสีดำเนี่ย สวยกว่าสีขาวนะ (chǎn wâa bplàawk muue thǔue sǐi dam nîia sǔuai gwàa sǐi khǎao ná) “I think a black phone case is nicer than the white one.” ใช่ คุณพูดถูก (châi khun phûut thùuk) “Yes, you’re right.” |
| 5. คุณผิดแล้ว! (khun phìt láaeo!) “You’re wrong!” |
| ฉันว่าปลอกมือถือสีดำสวยกว่าสีขาวนะ (chǎn wâa bplàawk muue thǔue sǐi dam sǔuai gwàa sǐi khǎao ná) “I think a black phone case is nicer than the white one. Do you think so?” คุณผิดแล้ว ฉันว่าสีขาวสวยกว่านะ (khun phìt láaeo chǎn wâa sǐi khǎao sǔuai gwàa ná) “You’re wrong. I think the white one is nicer.” |
| 6. ฉันไม่คิดอย่างนั้นนะ (chăn mâi khít yàang-nán ná) “I don't think so.” |
| ฉันว่าเราควรจะลงทุนในที่ดินมากกว่าไปลงทุนในสต๊อกนะ (chǎn khît wâa rao khuuan jà long thun nai thîi din mâak gwàa bpai long thun nai sà-dtáwk ná) “I think we should invest in real estate rather than stocks.” ไม่อ่ะ ฉันไม่คิดอย่างนั้น (mâi à chăn mâi khít yàang-nán) “No. I don't think so.” |
| 7. อาจจะ (àat-jà) “Maybe.” |
| พรุ่งนี้ไปเที่ยวด้วยกันมั๊ย (phrûng níi bpai thîiao dûuai gan mái) “You wanna hang out tomorrow?” อาจจะนะ (àat-jà ná) “Maybe.” |
| You know what, like this, if a girl say, “maybe”, probably it’s a no. |
| 8. ฉันไม่เห็นด้วย (chăn mâi hěn-dûuai) “I don't agree. No.” |
| นี่ๆ เธอเห็นด้วยมั๊ยว่าเราควรจะไปญี่ปุ่นตอนวันสงกรานต์กันหน่ะ (nîi nîi thooe hĕn dûuai mái wâa rao khuuan jà bpai yîi-bpùn dtaawn wan sŏng-graan gan nà) “Hey! Do you agree that we should go to Japan during Songkran?” ฉันไม่เห็นด้วยนะ ฉันอยากอยู่บ้าน (chăn mâi hěn-dûuai ná chǎn yàak yùu bâan). “I don't agree. No. I want to stay home.” |
| 9. ฉันเห็นดัวย (chăn hěn-dûuai) “I agree.” |
| You know what like in Thai, normally we can just omit the subject so if you agree, you don’t need to say the full sentence as in ฉันเห็นดัวย (chăn hěn-dûuai). You just say เห็นดัวย (hěn-dûuai) or ไม่เห็นดัวย (mâi hěn-dûuai) when you agree or don’t agree and that is enough. |
| 10. จริงด้วย (jing dûuai) “That's true.” |
| ปีนี้อ่ะ เราต้องเก็บเงินสร้างบ้านนะ เลยไม่อยากไปญี่ปุ่น (bpii níi à rao dtâawng gèp ngooen sâang bâan ná looei mâi yàak bpai yîi-bpùn) “This year, we have to save up for our house. So, that’s why I don’t want to go to Japan.” จริงด้วย (jing dûuai) “That's true.” |
