| In this lesson, you’ll learn conversational phrases to answer the question, "What are you going to talk about?" After watching this video, you’ll be able to introduce a topic you want to talk about. |
| Now, let’s take a look at some conversational phrases! |
| Listen to the dialogue. |
| คุณจะพูดเกี่ยวกับอะไร? (khun jà phûut gìiao gàp à-rai) |
| ฉันจะพูดเกี่ยวกับงานอดิเรกของฉัน (chăn jà phûut gìiao gàp ngaan à-dì-rèek khǎawng chăn) |
| Once more with the English translation. |
| คุณจะพูดเกี่ยวกับอะไร? (khun jà phûut gìiao gàp à-rai) |
| “What are you going to talk about?” |
| ฉันจะพูดเกี่ยวกับงานอดิเรกของฉัน (chăn jà phûut gìiao gàp ngaan à-dì-rèek khǎawng chăn) |
| “I'm going to talk about my hobbies.” |
| First of all you'll need to learn how to say “What are you going to talk about?” |
| That's: |
| คุณจะพูดเกี่ยวกับอะไร? (khun jà phûut gìiao gàp à-rai) |
| Listen to it again: |
| คุณจะพูดเกี่ยวกับอะไร?, คุณจะพูดเกี่ยวกับอะไร? (khun jà phûut gìiao gàp à-rai, khun jà phûut gìiao gàp à-rai) |
| This Thai sentence literally translates as “You are going to talk about what?” |
| But it means “What are you going to talk about?”. |
| Now, how do you answer this question? |
| The pattern is: |
| ฉันจะพูดเกี่ยวกับ [topic] (chăn jà phûut gìiao gàp [topic]) |
| “I'm going to talk about [topic].” |
| For example: |
| “I'm going to talk about my hobbies.” |
| ฉันจะพูดเกี่ยวกับงานอดิเรกของฉัน, ฉันจะพูดเกี่ยวกับงานอดิเรกของฉัน (chăn jà phûut gìiao gàp ngaan à-dì-rèek khǎawng chăn, chăn jà phûut gìiao gàp ngaan à-dì-rèek khǎawng chăn) |
