Thank you very much for your comment. For your question, In Thai we use time expression for past tense, for examples, muue-wan-nii yesterday, muue-chaao-nii this morning, muue-kuuen-nii lastnight and etc. We use "ja which means "going to" for the future" and "dtaan-nii or diiaw-nii right now for a present tense. Sometime we just understand tense from the sentence context. Hope that helps. Please let me know if you have any future questions.

In grammar section from the PDF lesson note, I found that there is no difference between non-past tense and past tense in Thai. Thai people really does not distinguish past and non-past tense?

it would be nice if there were direct english translations in the video as well, some are self explanitory, some are not.
