| John: Thai people love food, and there are several words that use food as a way to describe things. |

| Jay: มาม่า (maa-mâa) |
| Jay: ลำไย (lam-yai) |
| Jay: บ๊วย (búuai) |
| John: Jay, what's our first expression? |
| Jay: เผือก (phùueak) |
| John: The meaning originally comes from a rude slang word... |
| Jay: เสือก(sùueak), |
| John: ...which sounds similar, and it means “being nosy.” When the sound of the word is changed, the meaning is not as rude and it also happens to mean the same thing as the English word “taro” (a vegetable). When it's used as a slang expression, it means "being nosy or overly curious." |
