Hi ThaiPod101.com Listeners! Will the number of times you use this phrase on a weekly basis decrease as you become better at Thai? Or increase? Why do you think so?

Sawatdee khrap! I'm now in Thailand for two weeks and am making use of all I've learned - thank you!

I find myself wanting to say to people, "I speak only a little Thai." How do I say that? Is it something like "pom phuut pasa thai noi khrap"? (Sorry for no tone marks.)

Khaawp khun na khrap!

Hello Caroline Wright,

Thanks for your comment. For your question, the sound that you hear is just the matter of your own hearing system. The person in an audio is speak really clearly "jai" in Thai and not "dâai". Hope that help. Please let me know if you have any future questions. I will be glad to help.

Have a great day.
