| Hello everyone, welcome back to Thai weekly words and today we will be learning words about rooms [ห้อง] (hâwng) |
| 1.so the first word is [ครัว] (khruua) or kitchen. This is one of my favorite rooms |
| [คุณแม่กำลังทำกับข้าวอยู่ในครัว] (khun-mâae gam-lang tham gàp-khâao yùu nai khruua) mother is cooking in the kitchen. |
| 2.The next word is [ห้องนอน] (hâwng-naawn) or bedroom. This is my favorite room too. I like to sleep a lot |
| [น้องสาวอยู่แต่ในห้องนอนทั้งวัน] (náawng-săao yùu dtàae nai hâwng-naawn tháng wan) my sister is in her bedroom all day. |
| 3.The next word is [ห้องนั่งเล่น] (hâwng-nâng-lên) or living room |
| [มีทีวีเครื่องใหญ่อยู่ในห้องนั่งเล่น] (mii thii-wii khrûueang yài yùu nai hâwng-nâng-lên) there is a big TV in the living room. |
| 4.The next word is [ห้องน้ำ] (hâwng-náam) or bathroom |
| [ห้องน้ำที่บ้านเขาหรูหรามาก] (hâwng-náam thîi bâan khăo rǔu-răa mâak) the bathroom in his house is very fancy. I like fancy bathroom. |
| 5.The next word is [ห้องรับประทานอาหาร] (hâwng-ráp-bprà-thaan-aa-hăan) or dining room. Actually [ห้อง] (hâwng) means room right and [รับประทานอาหาร] (ráp-bprà-thaan-aa-hăan) means eating food. You can also say [ห้องกินข้าว] (hâwng-gin-khâao) because [กินข้าว] (gin-khâao) is eating food as well. It’s less formal but its okay to use in daily life. So [ห้องรับประทานอาหาร] (hâwng-ráp-bprà-thaan-aa-hăan) or [ห้องกินข้าว] (hâwng-gin-khâao) means dining room |
| [ทุกคนกำลังทานอาหารอยู่ในห้องรับประทานอาหาร] (thúk khon gam-lang thaan aa-hăan yùu nai hâwng-ráp-bprà-thaan-aa-hăan) everybody is eating in the dining room |
