| Hello everyone, welcome back to Thai weekly words. Today we will be learning about colors or [สี] (sǐi) in Thai. |
| 1.The first word is [ขาว] (khăao) or white |
| [นักเรียนต้องสวมถุงเท้าขาวไปโรงเรียน] (nák-riian dtâwng sŭuam thŭng-tháao khăao bpai roong-riian) students have to wear white socks to school and that’s the rule in Thailand. |
| 2.The next word is [ฟ้า] (fáa) or blue and you might notice that this word [ฟ้า] (fáa) is the same word to the word that means the sky. |
| So [ท้องฟ้าเป็นสีฟ้า] (tháawng-fáa bpen sǐi fáa) means the sky is blue. |
| 3.The next word is [เหลือง] (lǔueang) or yellow |
| [เป็ดเป็นสีเหลือง] (bpèt bpen sǐi lǔueang) the ducks are yellow. |
| 4.The next word is [แดง] (daaeng) or red |
| [ธงชาติไทยมีสีแดง ขาวและน้ำเงิน] (thong-châat thai mii sǐi daaeng khăao láe náam-ngoen) Thai national flags has red, white and blue colors. |
| 5.The next word is [เขียว] (khĭiao) or green. |
| When the light turns green, that means you can go. [พอไฟเป็นสีเขียวแปลว่าไปได้] (phaaw fai bpen sǐi khĭiao bplaae wâa bpai dâai) |

Yes, ฟ้า can means both "sky and light blue color". but full version of light blue is "สีฟ้า", ห้องฟ้า means "sky" when we speak we just short it to ฟ้า sometimes. Hope that's help. Video lessons are my favourite, I learn the best when I see something. I wish this video had the romanization of the Thai word, like all the 3 minute videos. :)

Is there anywhere I can find all colours on this websites? Just so I am not only learning a random few, And are the rest of the categories in this session the same? With only a couple vocab each?
