Hello everyone and you are with Thai weekly words with me Prathana and this week, we will be learning about birds [nók].
[nók-grà-riian ] Crane
[chăn mâi khooei hĕn nók-grà-riian maa gàawn nai chii-wít] I’ve never seen a crane in my life. I don’t know where are the cranes, not in Bangkok
[gài] chicken. Actually chicken is not considered a kind of bird for Thai people.
[chaao-naa thîii dtàang-jang-wàt ní-yom líiang gài] Farmers in the countryside like to keep chicken in their farm
[nók-naang-nuuan ] seagull
[nók-naang-nuuan bin yùu rim chaai-hàat] there were seagulls flying above the beach
[nók-phí-râap] pigeon
[thîi rá-biiang bâan chăn mee nók-phí-râap maa waang khài] there are pigeons laying eggs at my balcony. I am not lying, that’s true story. I am trying to get rid of them
[nók-yuung] peacock
[dèk dèk bpai duu nók-yuung thîi sŭuan-sàt] the kids went to see peacocks at the zoo
