In this lesson, you'll learn to talk about health problems in Thai through a quick conversation.
You'll practice using expressions like "I have a headache" or "My back hurts," and learn how to describe how someone feels using simple patterns.
Let's look at the dialogue.
As you listen, pay attention to how they ask about the topic and how the other person responds.
คุณดูไม่ค่อยดีนะ เป็นอะไรหรือเปล่าคะ (khun duu mâi khâuy dii ná. bpen à-rai rǔue bplào khá.)
ผมปวดหัวแล้วก็ปวดท้องด้วยครับ (phǒm bpùuat hǔua. láew gâaw bpùuat tháawng dûuai khráp.)
คุณมีไข้ไหมคะ (khun mii khâi mǎi khá?)
ผมไม่แน่ใจครับ (phǒm mâi nâae-jai khráp.)
คุณอยากไปพักที่ห้องพยาบาลไหมคะ (khun yàak bpai phák thîi hâwng-phá-yaa-baan mǎi khá.)
อยากครับ ขออนุญาตนะครับ (yàak khráp. khǎaw à-nú-yâat ná khráp.)
