For all of those who are wondering about the ซ/ศ/ษ/ส (S-sound). In the video it sounds a bit like she pronounces it like "th". She could be, however, it's very common in sound recordings that the sound producer reduces the s-sound to be more gentle, which sometimes makes it sound more like a th-sound.

I would like to be able to add the vowels and consonants to a flashcard deck. Is this possible?

Hi there, I am 4 days (or 2 hours) into Thai and I can't help but notice that the "H" sound aren't pronounced despite it being there.

For example ใหญ่ and หนู. Why so ?

Am I correct for assuming that it's omitted if there's another consonant after it ?

Hello, Why does the pronunciation of ซ/ศ/ษ/ส sound like "th" in English? Should be "s", right?
