Hi Ruth weinreb!
Welcome to the wonderful world of Thai language! 😊
In Thai, you can say "ยินดีต้อนรับสู่ครอบครัว" (/yin-dee dton-rap soo krop-krua/) which means "welcome to the family."

How do you say- “welcome to the family”
Hello Ray,
Thank you. We're glad to hear from you. Absolutely, "Have you eaten yet?" is indeed a common phrase in Thai culture, reflecting the Thai value of hospitality and concern for others' well-being. In Thai, this phrase is "กินข้าวหรือยัง (gin khâo rěu yang)? I will suggest. 👍 Please feel free to let me know if you have any questions. I will be glad to help.

hi,
I've been watching Thai movies and series for quite some time and thanks to that I know that there's an important phrase Thai people use a lot as it is part of their culture. unfortunately, I don't yet know how to say it in Thai. the phrase/question is "have you eaten yet?". I think it's worth adding to this list.
thank you
