สวัสดีครับ
I have a question, why we not use the ผม in this sentence chǎn yuǔ thîi bâan ?
Hello Michael,
Thank you for questions. พี่สาวของฉัน (my sister) ของฉัน can just be obmit once understood. I'm not understand your second quesstion "is there a general (non-age specific) term for brother and sister?". Please do not hesitate to ask if you have future questions. I will be glad to help.
Have a great day.

Hi
Two questions...
In the example พี่สาวสูงกว่าฉัน (my sister is taller than I am), why do we not have to say/write พี่สาวของฉัน (my sister) as opposed to just 'sister'?
Also, when it comes to talking about siblings, am I correct in thinking that the words พี่ and น้อง indicate their age compared to your own? So:
พี่สาว - older sister
น้องสาว - younger sister
พี่ชาย - older brother
น้องชาย - younger brother
If so, is there a general (non-age specific) term for brother and sister?
Thanks,
Michael

In the second-last sentence pattern there is a spelling error: It should be "possessive", not "prosessive".
Can you make sample sentences using these patterns?
