Team Members

Ryan Ryan Zander Ryan Zander is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin where he earned a degree in Languages and Cultures of Asia. During his studies, he spent a year at Chiang Mai University in Northern Thailand. While studying the Thai language, he also traveled throughout the entire country doing research for a thesis on Buddhist temple art and architecture.

Rawinporn Rawinporn Taechakumput Rawinporn is a graduate of Chulalongkorn University, faculty of Communication Arts. As a public relations consultant, she continues to hone key communications skills in a variety of languages, including Thai, English, and Japanese. She currently lives in Bangkok, Thailand.
Pim Pim Tandaechanurat Pim Tandaechanurat is a graduate of Chulalongkorn University where she majored in Communication Arts. Pim developed an interest in teaching Thai to foreigners during her year at the University of Leeds (UK) where she earned her Master’s degree. She joined the ThaiPod101.com team with a strong passion to share the beauty of Thai language and culture with the global community.
Benj Benj Soonthornwacharin Born and raised in California, Ben grew up speaking Thai as a heritage language, and studied Japanese in college including a year of studying abroad in Tokyo, to receive his Bachelors Degree in Linguistics from the University of California, Santa Barbara. He also currently holds a Master’s Degree in Applied Linguistics from the University of California, Los Angeles. At the moment he is working in business in Tokyo but enjoys sharing languages and language learning with people from around the world.
Kittaya Jing Intarathip Kittaya Jing Intarathip Kittaya Intarathip (Jing) was born and raised in Thailand and is a native Thai speaker. She has been working as graphic designer in Japan and looking forward to getting her Master’s Degree in Product Design. Because she loves helping people learn the Thai language and about Thai culture, she has been working as a host on ThaiPod101.com.
ohm Ohm Ohm is a native Thai and was born and raised in Thailand. He has been interested in other cultures and language experiences since he was young. He lived in Dallas, Texas for five years and received 2 Master’s degrees: one in Human Resources Management; and one in Management Information Systems. Ohm is currently living in Japan working for a localization company in the Tokyo area, while fulfilling his passion for language and culture by teaching private Thai lessons and learning Japanese on the weekend.
Pradthana Ungchusak Pradthana Ungchusak Pradthana (Ja) was born and raised in Bangkok, Thailand. She graduated with a bachelor’s degree in English and Comparative Literature from Chulalongkorn University in Thailand and a master’s degree in Media Studies from the University of Tokyo in Japan. During her student years she spent a few months in the US, then later taught English to Thai students in Bangkok. Her passion lies in language, literature, and contemporary cultures, which is why she has always been in the media industry.
Jay Pafan Julsaksrisakul Jay Pafan Julsaksrisakul Jay was born and raised in Bangkok, Thailand, and she is now living in Tokyo, working towards a master’s degree at Keio University. Since she went to high school in Singapore and is now living in Tokyo, she can speak three languages—English, conversational Japanese, and her native language, Thai. With an interest in drawing and blogging, she runs two personal educational blogs; one to teach English to Thais, and another to share her love of drawing, writing, and photography online.
Nantanee Yarnchalothorn Nantanee Yarnchalothorn Nantanee Yarnchalothorn is an MBA student at Waseda University. She was born in Lopburi, a small province in Thailand. She studied economics at Thammasat University and lived in Bangkok for eight years. In 2014, she moved to Japan to study. She loves travelling, and wants to travel around the world. Her hobbies include watching movies and taking photos.
Chalam Tangcharoenchaichana Chalam Tangcharoenchaichana (TAR) A frequent traveler and adventurer, Tar is a native Thai speaker who was born and raised in Bangkok. After obtaining a bachelor’s degree in engineering from Thammasat University, he decided to begin a new chapter in Japan. After graduating with an MBA from Rikkyo University, he continued to work and live in Japan. Not only is Tar a passionate traveler who has traveled across five continents, he is also an adrenaline junkie who loves every kind of extreme sport, especially skydiving
Parisa Koknoi Parisa Koknoi Parisa was born in Chá-chooeng-sao, Thailand. She is a native of Thai and speaks English. She has a Bachelor degree in English, with an emphasis in business, and she is interested in things happening around the world. She has been teaching the Thai language to foreigners for over four years both online via Skype and in person in Chiang Mai, Thailand.
Arnon Plianchaisuk Arnon Plianchaisuk Arnon was raised in Bangkok, Thailand since he was born. He later moved to Tokyo to continue his M. & Ph.D. degrees in computation biology at the University of Tokyo. He’s interested in foreign language studies from the perspective of language comparison. Currently, he is advancing 5 languages including Thai, English, Japanese, Korean, and Chinese. Because he is a dessert lover, it would be great if someone could point out delicious confectionery shops in Tokyo for him.
Tamonwan Pornwittaya Tamonwan Pornwittaya Fah was born and grew up in Bangkok, Thailand. She completed her undergrad education at Thammasart University and just finished her master’s degree at the College of Management, Mahidol University. She is a Thai native who understands English and a little bit of Japanese. Fah enjoys listening to music, watching movies or TV series, and reading good novels.
Pajaree Pajaree Pajaree was born in Udon Thani, Thailand, and has lived in Sydney, Australia since October 2015. Apart from English and Thai, she speaks Thai’s north-eastern dialect which is similar to Lao. Her education background is in English language and media studies. She loves art and culture and is a curious follower of Australia’s politics and global affairs. She has worked mostly for international organizations including the United Nations, is a freelance translator and occasionally serves as a Thai language tutor. Having traveled extensively in the Asia-Pacific and Europe, she lived in the UK for a year to complete a master in digital media production and in Myanmar for six months to coordinate a humanitarian project.
