Low class consonant ฌ

Postby changkb_19316 » March 18th, 2018 2:50 am

Hi

I would like to thank you for the excellent Thai Alphabet Made Easy course (25 Lessons). It is done very professionally and arranged in a way that make learning memorable and fun. I was able to complete the course in 7 days and can even start to read some Thai words!

Just one feedback. I could not find the Thai consonant ฌ in any of the 25 lessons. Can I have some information and examples for this alphabet ฌ?

Hello,

Thank you very much for your comment and question. We really appreciated your kind supported.
I think the writer forgot the ฌ “chaaw-chooe”, Low class consonant. So sorry about that. It’s rarely use. Examples word ฌอน Sean; Shaun; Shawn [an English given name] ฌาน concentration of mind/meditation เฌอร่า Shera [brand name for wood substitute, fiber cement board used in Thai construction.]. Hope that help. Please let me know if you have any future questions. I will be glad to help. We wish you have a good progress with Thai.

Have a nice day.
