| Now, let’s take a look at some conversational phrases! |
| Listen to the dialogue: |
| คุณทำงานอะไร (khun tham ngaan à-rai) |
| ผมเป็นศิลปิน (phǒm bpen sǐn-lá-bpin) |
| Listen to it again. Now, with the English translation: |
| คุณทำงานอะไร (khun tham ngaan à-rai) |
| “What do you do?” |
| ผมเป็นศิลปิน (phǒm bpen sǐn-lá-bpin) |
| “I’m an artist.” |
| First of all, you need to learn how to say “What do you do?” |
| That's: คุณทำงานอะไร (khun tham ngaan à-rai) |
| Listen to it again: คุณทำงานอะไร (khun tham ngaan à-rai), คุณทำงานอะไร (khun tham ngaan à-rai) |
| Now, how do you answer this question? |
| This is the pattern you’ll need: |
| ผมเป็น[your occupation]. (phǒm bpen {occupation}.) |
| “I’m a/an [your occupation].” |
| For example: |
| “I’m an artist.” |
