| Pim: No it isn’t. But at least in Thailand auto repairs won’t set you back nearly as much as in some other countries. |

| Pim: Well, the labor costs are much lower. And there are lots of small, independent mechanic shops you can go to. Especially if you are looking for a motorbike mechanic, those are all over the place. |
| Ben: That is pretty handy. If you get a flat tire or something like that, you don’t need to take it very far to get it fixed. |
| Pim: Right. Just remember that not all mechanics are equally qualified. |

| Ben: This phrase means “brought in to repair”. |
| Pim: That’s right. เอามา (ao maa) means “to take in the direction of the speaker”. |
| Ben: So in other words that could be “to bring” |
| Pim: Yes. Then, ซ่อม (sâawm) is the verb “to repair”, and ไว้ (wái) is another verb meaning “to keep” or “to preserve”. |
| Ben: So the whole phrase is like saying “kept here after bringing in to repair.” And the sentence from the conversation was... |
| Pim: มารับรถที่เอามาซ่อมไว้เมื่อวันศุกร์ค่ะ |
