Hi Ross,

Thank you for posting.

The quiz doesn’t have the option to show the romanization in the writing questions tab yet. But you can alter the quiz settings to:
English > the writing questions tab will require you to type in the Thai equivalent.
Thai > the writing questions tab will require you to type in the English equivalent

Regarding writing, please check out our series Thai Alphabet Made Easy:

For improving your skills for conversation, it’s important to check out first:

Is there a way to take the quiz showing the romanization along with the thai writing? I am interested in learning Thai writing, but would like to learn conversation and words first. Thank you!

Hello Wayne,

Thank you very much for your comment and question. It’s is not missing เธ‚เธญเธšเนƒเธˆ khร awp-jai means “Thanks” but “ja เธˆเนŠเธฐ(low tone)” is a polite particle, to make it sound sweet(incorrect Thai spelling in our lesson). I’m not sure about your sentence ” khaawp jail day” ? “da” in Thai charactor would be เธ”เธฐ and “daa” เธ”เธฒ Hope thatโ€™s help. Please let me know if you have any future questions. I will be glad to help. We wish you will have a good progress with your Thai.

Have a good day.

Great lessons. I just noticed that the last word for the informal thanks is missing, ie khaawp jail day?.
What Thai characters are used for ‘da’ and what roman characterisation would you use?

Thanks
