| Actually, this word, สวัสดี, is usually followed by a polite ending word, ค่ะ or ครับ. |
| ค่ะ is used for girls and ครับ is used for guys. |
| Jack greets Steve at a networking event. |
| Jack: สวัสดี วันนี้คุณเป็นอย่างไรบ้างครับ (sà-wàt-dii. wan-níi khun bpen yàang-rai bâang khráp.) |

| สวัสดีตอนเช้า is actually not a common phrase that we use in Thailand. |
| So if you go to Thailand or you talk with Thai people, usually we will just say สวัสดี for everything, like good morning, good afternoon, good evening. |
| We just say สวัสดี |

| In spoken language, we don't usually use this word. |
| We usually say ไปนอนก่อนนะ when we want to go to bed. |
| However, you probably see this word in a translated text or novels. |

| Actually, this phrase ยินดีที่ได้พบคุณ is not very common to us. |
| So, usually we will say ยินดีที่ได้รู้จัก which means nice to get to know you. |
| So, if you are a guy, you will say ยินดีที่ได้รู้จักนะครับ. |
| And if you are a girl, you will say ยินดีที่ได้รู้จักนะครับ. |
| Nongnuch greets a new student as they join the class for the first time. |
| Nongnuch: ยินดีที่ได้พบคุณค่ะ เชิญข้างในค่ะ (yin-dii thîi dâi phóp khâ. chooen khâang-nai khâ.) |

| This phrase คุณเป็นอย่างไรบ้าง is usually used formally by older people. |
| So, if you watch a BL or a series or a movie in Thai, you probably haven't heard of it. |
| So, you might have heard something like |
| เป็นอย่างไรบ้าง? (pen yàang-rai bâang?) |
| เป็นอย่างไร? (pen yàang-rai?) |
| Which is something that younger people use more. |
| Steve greets Tom at a party. |
| Steve: ดีใจที่ได้เจอคุณที่นี่ครับ คุณเป็นอย่างไรบ้างครับ (dii-jai thîi dâi jooe khun thîi-nîi khráp. khun bpen yàang-rai bâang khráp.) |
| Tom: ผมสบายดี ขอบคุณครับ แล้วคุณล่ะ (phǒm sà-baai-dii. khàawp-khun khráp. láaeo khun lâ.) |

| ลาก่อน is actually a very formal word. |
| We usually don't use it in a spoken language. |
| So, if you want to say goodbye to a Thai people naturally, |
| it's better to say |

| or |
| บ๊ายบาย (báai baai) |
| or |
| สวัสดีค่ะ (sà-wàt-dii khâ)) |
| สวัสดีครับ. (sà-wàt-dii khráp) |
| Jack says goodbye after meeting with Steve. |
